Join us for an extraordinary event with Dr. Nour Rawafi, Chief Scientist for NASA’s Parker Solar Probe mission and heliophysicist at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, Josh Richman, Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and NASA’s Open Science Program Scientist, Dr. Chelle Gentemann.

Dr. Rawafi will guide us through the groundbreaking journey of the Parker Solar Probe, the first mission to “touch” the Sun.

World Premiere

Concert for Carillon and Cellphone
Location: UC Berkeley Campanile a.k.a. Sather Tower
Date: Friday, April 11, 2025, 12:00–12:15 PM
Join us at noon promptly (it's a clocktower) for the world premiere of To The Sun, a concert for Carillon and cell phones. Bring your phone to play along.

The event will run for about 10 minutes. It will be audible for about 2 miles. After the concert, the artist team will be available for questions and for signing posters.
Transportation and Parking
The easiest way to get to both Campbell Hall and the Sather Tower is to walk up from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. You can also drive and park at the Stadium Garage.
